Brazil vs. Germany

Sportsbooks such as Sportsbook had Germany posted at 7-4 with Brazil at 9-5 and a draw line of a little more than 2-1.

Brazil beat Colombia in the quarterfinals, but it was a costly win. Star striker Neymar was injured and will not play and captain Thiago Silva is out due to suspension.

With Neymar out, Fred and Hulk will likely have to lead the offense and Oscar must play better in the midfield and push forward on the attack.

Germany has only allowed one goal, and none in full time, in their last three matches. While their offense has not looked great, their defense has looked impenetrable.

Bastian Schweinsteiger and Sami Khedira have been solid in the midfield for the Germans. If they play well and dictate the match in that area of the pitch, they will be tough to beat.

In fact, they will not be beat.

Netherlands vs. Argentina

Sportsbooks had Argentina as the World Cup betting favorite in this semifinals encounter at 7-5 with Netherlands priced at 23-10, the same line as betting the 90-minute draw.

The Netherlands and their dynamic attack was thwarted against Costa Rica, but they were clinical in the penalty shootout. Their defense played well in that match, but now face a much better attacking Argentina squad led by Lionel Messi.

Arjen Robben and Robin van Persie are a great attacking duo and, while they were shut out against Costa Rica, they will be a major worry for an Argentina defense that has looked shaky in the tournament. They did keep a clean sheet in their quarterfinals win over Belgium.

Messi finally got some help in the last match with a goal from Gonzalo Higuain. However, Angel Di Maria was injured in the win over Belgium. If he cannot go, it will be a big blow for Argentina as he has been a creative force at the front. World Cup semifinals betting will bring huge thrills and profits for fans and bettors alike.

Prediction: 2-1 Argentina | Bet at Sportsbook
