Leicester Hosts WBA in Midweek Action

Leonardo Ulloa Leicester City Premier League

There was very little time for Leicester to celebrate its 1-0 win over Norwich on the weekend as the Premier League is back with some midweek action. The King Power Stadium is the venue as West Brom travels to Leicester to visit the Premier League leaders Tuesday.

  • Leicester won the reverse fixture 3-2 back on October 31.
  • Leicester midfielder N’Golo Kanté is set to miss out of the club’s next two matches
  • Leicester has held opponents to zero goals in their last five home games.

The Foxes are -150 in moneyline markets at online book Bet365 while West Brom is +500 and the Draw is +280. As far as the total is concerned, OVER 2.5 goals +110 while UNDER 2.5 goals is -143.

Leicester’s win over the Canaries gives them 56 points through 27 games. The club heads into the midweek slate two points up on Tottenham, who visit West Ham in a London derby Wednesday.

Leonardo Ulloa scored a last-minute winner against Norwich to keep the Foxes’ title charge going. The team has won four of its last five games and has outscored opponents 10-3 in the process.

West Brom has won back-to-back games heading into Tuesday’s contest and is coming off a 3-2 win over Crystal Palace on the weekend. Craig Gardner, Craig Dawson and Saido Berahino each scored in the first half getting the Baggies out to a 3-0 lead before Palace added a pair in the second half.

WBA sits 13th in the table with 35 points and eight points from their last six games has the team distancing themselves from the relegation zone.

Tottenham is doing its best to keep things close in the Premier League as they have won six-straight. While West Brom is playing very well at the moment, it is games like these that Leicester need to win that will lead them to Premier League glory.
