What had been a clear betting choice has become more colorful after Gatorade odds began moving mid-week.
The line was set on this annual Super Bowl prop bet with 'clear/water' as the top betting choice. But money on 'yellow' Gatorade has forced the line lower.
"While 'clear' had been the clear betting favorite early in the week, money on 'yellow' has made that the shortest odds as of Wednesday," said Kevin Bradley, sportsbook manager at Bovada.
No word on whether surveillance on Gatorade delivery boys or a spike in yellow Gatorade sales in New Orleans caused this flow of new money.
