Super Bowl Contest Returns for Super Bowl 47 - The best free Super Bowl contest on the web is back for 2013 with the Proper Bowl props contest.
With more than $2,500 in prizes available, the contest offers a fun and simple way to make Super Bowl XLVII even more exciting.
The contest, which runs on a companion site called ProperBowl.com and which is sponsored again this year by Bovada Sportsbook, consists of 25 multiple-choice questions about outcomes of the big game, starting with the coin toss and ending with questions on the number of sacks, rushing yards and time of first scoring play.

Last year, several contestants soared way ahead of the competition by picking ‘Other’ in the First Scoring Play question. The most common answers were TD and FG, but everyone will recall Tom Brady taking a safety early in the game which gave the New York Giants a 2-0 lead.
Thousands of players played online and hundreds of others printed off the game questions and used them for their own Super Bowl parties.
The winner is guaranteed $47.47 in honor of Super Bowl 47 and qualifies for $474.74 if the contest requirements are met. In all, the next 47 top finishers all call $10 and can qualify for $47. The contest prizes are courtesy of Bovada and payable according to the contest rules.
The game is ready to sign up now, but the questions and teams won’t be announced until later. The plan is to open the contest for picks on Jan. 23, so bookmark the site and check back at that time. Also watch your email for reminders of the start of the free Super Bowl contest.
