Super Bowl prediction based on unemployment rate

Whether it's a veteran handicapper or a veteran camel in a New Jersey zoo, everyone has a Super Bowl prediction.

But can the unemployment rates in the cities involved in Super Bowl XLVII predict the winner?

Twenty of the last 25 Super Bowls have been won by the city with a lower unemployment rate.

According to this site, Baltimore’s recent jobless rate was 7.2%, which all but guarantees they will defeat San Francisco, which had a rate of 8.2%.

So while Princess the Camel predicts the Ravens will win, so does the unemployment rate predictor.
