Braves outlast Cubs in extra innings
Chipper Jones' run-scoring single in the bottom of the 12th inning lifted the Atlanta Braves over the Chicago Cubs 6-5 on Tuesday night.

Jeff Francoeur hit a two-run bomb for the Braves, while Rafael Soriano picked up the win in relief of starter Kenshin Kawakami for Atlanta.
Derrek Lee was 2-for-5 with a homer and two runs batted in for Chicago, as Aaron Heilman took the loss after allowing the winning run in the 12th inning for the Cubs.
