Big inning lifts Braves
The Atlanta Braves scored all their runs in the first inning en route to a 4-3 win over the Florida Marlins Saturday night at Turner Field.
Atlanta won the game as -170 favorites, and the seven runs went UNDER the posted over/under (8.5).
Yunel Escobar led the Braves with a two-run homer. Tommy Hanson improved to 9-2 with the seven-inning performance, and Rafael Soriano collected his 19th save.
Jorge Cantu had two RBIs in a losing effort for the Marlins. Chris Volstad gave up six hits and four runs over four innings in the loss.
