Braves down Phillies

The Atlanta Braves evened their three-game series Saturday, as they defeated the Philadelphia Phillies 6-4 at Turner Field.

Atlanta won the game as -170 favorites, and the 10 runs made it OVER the posted over/under (8).

Matt Diaz went deep for a two-run homer, and Adam LaRoche also drove in a pair of runs for the Braves. Javier Vasquez pitched seven scoreless innings for the win.

Ryan Howard belted a two-run homer for the Phillies. Pedro Martinez surrendered seven hits and three runs over three innings in the loss.
