The Chicago Cubs completed a three-game sweep of the San Diego Padres with an 11-3 rout Thursday afternoon at Wrigley Field.

Chicago won the game as -160 favorites, and the 14 runs sailed OVER the posted over/under (9.5).

Bobby Scales had two hits and drove in four runs to lead the Cubs. Ryan Dempster thew seven innings for the win, giving up three hits and two runs.

Adrian Gonzalez homered in a losing effort for the Padres, while Chad Gaudin surrendered four runs and fell to 0-3 on the season.
