Cubs topple Pirates in six innings
The Chicago Cubs earned a rain-shortened 6-1 victory over the Pittsburgh Pirates Tuesday night at Wrigley Field.
Chicago won the game as -160 favorites, while the seven runs went UNDER the posted over/under (9.5).
Micah Hoffpauir went 2-for-3 at the plate and drove in two runs for the Cubs. Sean Marshall allowed four hits and one run over five innings of work.
Robinzon Diaz drove in the only run for the Pirates. Ian Snell gave up six runs off eight hits in the loss.
