Reds hold off Braves

Micah Owings smacked a three-run homer to lead Cincinnati Reds to a 4-3 win over the Atlanta Braves Wednesday night at Great American Ball Park.

Cincinnati won the game as +135 underdogs, while the seven runs went UNDER the posted over/under (8.5).

Owings allowed just two runs over six innings to get the win, and Francisco Cordero closed out the game with his 16th save.

Yunel Escobar went deep for a two-run shot for the Braves. Javier Vazquez was tagged for four runs over eight innings in a losing effort.
