Reds edge Giants in 10 innings

Drew Stubbs belted his first career home run in the 10th inning to lift the Cincinnati Reds to a 2-1 victory over the San Francisco Giants Thursday afternoon, and avoided a three-game sweep at Great American Ball Park.

Cincinnati won the game as a +125 underdog, and the team's played UNDER the posted over/under (7.5).

Laynce Nix also hit a solo home run for the Reds. Francisco Cordero tossed a scoreless 10th inning to earn the win.

The Giants scored their only run off a wild pitch. Bob Howry gave up the winning run and suffered the loss.
