Brandon Phillips belted a solo home run and drove in three runs Wednesday, as the Cincinnati Reds defeated the Pittsburgh Pirates 5-3 for a sweep of the four-game set at Great American Ball Park.

Cincinnati won the game as -130 favorites, while the eight runs went UNDER the day’s posted over/under (8.5).

Drew Stubbs went 3-for-4 at the plate with a solo home run for the Reds. Homer Bailey improved to 5-4 with the win, scattering seven hits and three runs over 6 1-3 innings of work.

Garrett Jones and Brandon Moss went deep for the Pirates. Zach Duke allowed nine hits and five runs over six innings in the loss.
