Mets Wright ship against Rockies
David Wright went 3-for-4 at the plate and drove in three runs to lead the New York Mets to an 8-3 victory over the Colorado Rockies and avoided a three-game sweep at Coors Field.
The Mets won the game as +210 underdogs, and the 11 runs made it OVER the posted over/under (10).
Daniel Murphy belted a two-run homer and scored twice for the Mets. Pat Misch tossed seven innings for the win, allowing four hits and two runs.
Chris Iannetta, Clint Barmes, and Ian Stewart all homered for the Rockies. Jason Marquis gave up nine hits and five runs over five innings in the loss.
