Rockies keep pace in playoff race
The Colorado Rockies maintained their lead over the Braves in the wild-card race with a 5-4 win over the St. Louis Cardinals Friday night at Coors Field.
Colorado won the game as +135 underdogs, while the nine runs made it OVER the posted over/under (8.5).
Yorvit Torrealba drove in the winning run, and Todd Helton hit a sacrifice fly for the other run. Huston Street tossed a scoreless ninth to pick up the victory.
Ryan Ludwick belted a solo home run for the Cardinals. Trever Miller gave up the winning run and was tagged with the loss.
