Nationals dump Rockies in opener
Ryan Zimmerman belted two home runs and drove in six runs as the Washington Nationals defeated the Colorado Rockies 14-6 in eight innings Thursday in the opener of a four-game series.
The Nationals won the game as +175 underdogs, while the 20 runs sailed OVER the posted over/under (10) set by sportsbooks.
Miguel Batista tossed just under two innings of relief to earn the victory for the Nationals.
Jhoulys Chacin allowed six runs off six hits over five innings in a losing effort.
