Marlins sweep away Nationals

The Florida Marlins rallied with two runs in the eighth inning as they defeated the Washington Nationals 5-3 for a sweep of the three-game series at LandShark Stadium.

Florida won the game as -170 favorites, and the eight runs went as a PUSH against the posted over/under (8).

Cody Ross went 2-for-4 with a solo home run and two RBIs for the Marlins. Dan Meyer earned the win in relief, and Leo Nunez closed out the ninth with his fourth save.

Josh Willingham had two hits and drove in two runs for the Nationals. Julian Tavarez gave up two runs in relief and suffered the loss.
