Brewers get past Cardinals

Prince Fielder drove in the winning run to help the Milwaukee Brewers defeat the St. Louis Cardinals 5-4 Wednesday night at Miller Park.

Mat Gamel belted a two-run homer to lead the way for the Brewers. Todd Coffey tossed two innings for the win, and Trevor Hoffman closed out the game with his 19th save.

Yadier Molina had two hits with one RBI and one run scored for the Cardinals. Jason Motte gave up the winning run and was tagged with the loss.
