Jays soar past Phillies
Aaron Hill belted a two-run homer and drove in three runs Wednesday, as the Toronto Blue Jays cruised past the Philadelphia Phillies 7-1 for a second straight win in the three-game series at Citizens Bank Park.
Toronto won the game as +120 underdogs, but the eight runs went UNDER the night’s posted over/under (10.5).
Scott Rolen homered and drove in two runs for the Blue Jays. Scott Richmond fanned 11 batters over eight innings to pick up his fifth win.
Jamie Moyer was rocked for 10 hits and six runs over six innings in the loss.
