Mets dump Phillies
The New York Mets got out to an early lead and never looked back in a 7-4 win over the Philadelphia Phillies Friday night in the opener of a three-game series.
New York won the game as a -110 pick’em, while the 11 runs went as a PUSH against the posted over/under (11).
Daniel Murphy belted a two-run homer to lead the Mets. Mike Pelfrey improved to 3-0 with the win, and Francisco Rodriguez earned his fifth save.
Chase Utley went deep for the Phillies, while Chan Ho Park gave up eight hits and seven runs over 4 2-3 innings in the loss.
