Dodgers down Phillies in rubber match
The Los Angeles Dodgers scored two runs in the top of the 10th inning and held on for a 5-3 victory over the Philadelphia Phillies in the rubber match Thursday afternoon at Citizens Bank Park.
Los Angeles won the game as a +130 underdog, but the eight runs fell UNDER the posted over/under (8).
Matt Kemp had three hits and drove in one run to lead the Dodgers. Jonathan Broxton got the win in relief, and Ramon Troncoso tossed a scoreless 10th to earn the save.
Carlos Ruiz batted in two runs for the Phillies. Chad Durbin gave up the winning run and was tagged with the loss.
