Atkins, Rockies overpower Phillies
Garrett Atkins was 2-for-3 with a two-run homer and four runs batted in to lead the Colorado Rockies over the Philadelphia Phillies 8-3 on Tuesday night.
Colorado won as +115 road underdogs as the teams played OVER the 10.5-run total set by oddsmakers.
Chris Iannetta knocked in two runs for the Rockies, while Jason Hammel gave up three runs over 6 2-3 innings to get the win for Colorado.
Jimmy Rollins went 2-for-5 with a two-run jack for Philadelphia, as losing pitcher Jamie Moyer was rocked for six runs over five innings for the Phillies.
