Jayson Werth homered to drove in the other Phillies run. Pedro Martinez won his third in a two since joining the Phillies, and Brad Lidge notched his 28th save.
Eugenio Velez went 2-for-4 at the plate with a solo home run for the Giants. Tim Lincecum surrendered four hits and two runs over seven innings in the loss.
