Mets edge out Phillies
A ninth-inning home run from David Wright powered the New York Mets over the Philadelphia Phillies, 10-9, in Game 2 of their weekend series at Citizens Bank Park.
New York won as a +152 road underdog while the final score played over the 9.5-run total.
Wright finished the game going 3-for-5 with two home runs and six RBI. Reliever Pedro Feliciano was awarded the win after pitching just 1-3 of an inning.
Raul Ibanez, Chase Utley and Jimmy Rollins all homered for the Phillies. Starter Jamie Moyer picked up a no-decision after going seven innings, allowing five runs on seven hits.
