Rockies hold off Phillies; even series
The Colorado Rockies built up an early lead and held on for a 5-4 win over the Philadelphia Phillies Thursday in Game 2 of their best-of-five NL divisional playoff series.
Colorado won the game as +150 underdogs, while the nine runs went as a PUSH against the posted over/under (9).
Yorvit Torrealba went 2-for-3 at the plate with a two-run homer for the Rockies. Aaron Cook allowed just three runs over five innings for the win, and Huston Street closed out the ninth for his first save of the postseason.
Raul Ibanez drove in a pair of runs for the Phillies, and Jayson Werth went deep. Cole Hamels gave up seven hits and four runs over five innings in suffering the loss.
