The Pittsburgh Pirates scored four runs in the second inning, as they defeated the Colorado Rockies 7-4 Saturday night at PNC Park.
Pittsburgh won the game as +100 underdogs, while the combined 11 runs made it OVER the posted over/under (9).
Andy LaRoche went 2-for-4 at the plate and drove in two runs in leading the Pirates. Sean Burnett earned the win in relief, and Matt Capps closed out the ninth with his seventh save.
Clint Barmes had two hits, including a solo home run for the Rockies. Matt Belisle was tagged with the loss after 3 2-3 innings on the mound.
