Astros trim Pirates
Edwin Maysonet drove in four runs to propel the Houston Astros to a 6-1 win over the Pittsburgh Pirates Friday night in the opener of a three-game series at PNC Park.
Houston won the game as +125 underdogs, while the seven runs went UNDER the posted over/under (9.5).
Maysonet belted a two-run homer. Ivan Rodriguez had three hits and two runs scored. Brian Moehler went nine innings for the win, giving up seven hits and one run.
Ross Ohlendorf surrendered eight hits and four runs over five innings in the loss.
