Pujols powers Cards over Pirates
Albert Pujols belted a game-winning home run in the 10th inning to lift the St. Louis Cardinals to a 2-1 win over the Pittsburgh Pirates Saturday at PNC Park.
St. Louis won the game as -120 favorites, while the teams played UNDER the posted over/under (9).
Blake Hawksworth earned the win in relief, and Ryan Franklin closed out the contest with his 37th save.
Lastings Milledge went 2-for-4 at the plate and drove in the lone run for the Pirates. Matt Capps gave up the winning run and was tagged with the loss.
