Big inning propels Astros
The Houston Astros exploded for six runs in the fourth inning as they defeated the San Diego Padres 7-1 Wednesday night at Petco Park.
Houston won the game as a -120 favorite, while the eight runs went UNDER the posted over/under (8.5).
Kazuo Matsui went 2-for-4 at the plate and drove in one run for the Astros. Brian Moehler allowed just four hits and one run over six innings for the win.
Eliezer Alfonzo belted a solo home run and finished 2-for-4 at the plate for the Padres. Walter Silva gave up six runs over four innings to suffer the loss.
