Adrian Gonzalez belted a two-run homer and drove in three runs to lead the San Diego Padres to an 8-3 win over the New York Mets Thursday night.

San Diego won the game as -150 favorites, while the 11 runs made it OVER the posted over/under (7.5).

Henry Blanco went 3-for-4 at the plate with one RBI and one run scored for the Padres. Clayton Richard pitched 5 2-3 innings for the win, allowing five hits and three runs.

Fernando Tatis had two hits and drove in one run for the Mets. Livan Hernandez allowed eight hits and seven runs over five innings in the loss.
