Cardinals fly past Brewers
The St. Louis Cardinals scored six runs in the second inning as they defeated the Milwaukee Brewers 10-3 Wednesday night at Busch Stadium.
St. Louis won the game as -260 favorites, and the 13 runs sailed OVER the posted over/under (7.5).
Skip Schumaker went 4-for-4 at the plate and drove in four runs to lead the Cardinals. Chris Carpenter won his 15th game of the season, allowing three runs over six innings of work.
Casey McGehee went 2-for-4 with a pair of RBIs for the Brewers. Dave Bush allowed 11 hits and eight runs over 3 1-3 innings in the loss.
