Jeff Mathis drove in a pair of runs Sunday to give the Los Angeles Angels a 3-2 win over the Kansas City Royals.

The Angels were a -140 favorite in the game and the five runs scored fell UNDER the posted over/under total (9.5).

Chone Figgins and Kendry Morales also drove in runs for Los Angeles, while Shane Loux allowed three runs on seven hits in 3 2-3 innings.

Kyle Davies allowed only one run on three hits in six innings for Kansas City, but had to settle for a no-decision.
