Rays slip past Red Sox
The Tampa Bay Rays scored four runs in the fifth-inning and went on to crush the Boston Red Sox 7-2 Wednesday night at Fenway Park.
Tampa Bay won the game as +135 underdogs, while the nine runs made it OVER the posted over/under (8.5).
Carlos Pena went deep for a two-run homer, and Evan Longoria also went deep for the Rays. Scott Kazmir gave up just five hits and one run over six innings on the mound to earn the win.
Kevin Youkilis went 3-for-4 at the plate with one RBI for the Red Sox. Jon Lester was tagged for five runs off eight hits over five innings in the loss.
