Mariners even series with Tigers
Ichiro Suzuki’ two-run homer helped the Seattle Mariners defeat the Detroit Tigers 3-1 Wednesday night at Comerica Park.
Seattle won the game as +250 underdogs, while the team’s played UNDER the posted over/under (8.5).
Josh Wilson drove in the other runs for the Mariners. Ian Snell earned the win after going 5 2-3 innings on the mound, and David Aardsma closed out the victory with his 28th save.
Carlos Guillen hit a solo home run for the only Tigers run. Justin Verlander allowed three runs over eight innings, while striking out 10 in a losing effort.
