White Sox finish off Tigers
Mark Kotsay belted a two-run homer and drove in four runs as the Chicago White Sox defeated the Detroit Tigers 6-4 Thursday in 11 innings, and clinched the four-game series at Comerica Park.
The White Sox won the finale as +140 underdogs, while the 10 runs made it OVER the posted over/under (8.5) set by sportsbooks.
Sergio Santos pitched two scoreless innings for the win, Juan Pierre also drove in a run for the White Sox.
Jose Valverde was tagged with the loss after giving up a pair of runs in the 11th inning.
