Twins sneak past White Sox
The Minnesota Twins scored a pair of runs in the second inning as they got past the Chicago White Sox 3-2 Wednesday night for a sweep of the three-game series at the Metrodome.
Minnesota won the game as a -110 pick’em, and the five runs went UNDER the posted over/under (9).
Alexi Casilla drove in two runs to lead the Twins, while Jesse Crain tossed two innings of relief for the win. Joe Nathan closed out the game for his 29th save.
Jayson Nix and Carlos Quentin homered to drive in the White Sox runs. Jose Contreras gave up all three runs in 5 2-3 innings of work.
