Rangers take down Mariners in extra innings
Jarrod Saltalamacchia's grand slam highlighted a six-run 10th inning, as the Texas Rangers upset the Seattle Mariners 7-2 on Tuesday.
Texas cashed as +150 road underdogs as the game played over the 8-run total listed by oddsmakers.
Nelson Cruz went 3-for-5 with a homer and two runs batted in for the Rangers, while Darren O'Day got the win in relief of starter Vicente Padilla for Texas.
Adrian Beltre knocked in a run for Seattle, as Denny Stark was tagged with the loss after allowing all six runs in the top of the 10th for the Mariners.
