Twins get past Mariners in 10 innings
The Minnesota Twins scored in the top of the 10th inning Friday, as they defeated the Seattle Mariners 2-1 at Safeco Field.

Matt Guerrier improved to 2-0 with the win in relief, and Joe Nathan collected his 11th save in the contest.
Mike Sweeney went deep in a losing effort for the Mariners. Mark Lowe gave up the winning run and was tagged with the loss.
