Johnson propels Mariners over Rangers
Rob Johnson blasted a two-run homer and the Seattle Mariners snuck past the Texas Rangers 4-1 Saturday night at Safeco Field.
Seattle won the game as a -110 pick’em, while the five runs went UNDER the posted over/under (8).
Russell Branyan homered and Ichiro Suzuki drove in the other run for the Mariners. Jarrod Washburn gave up four hits and one run over seven innings for the victory.
Ian Kinsler drove in the lone run for the Rangers. Kevin Millwood allowed six hits and four runs over six innings to suffer the loss.
