Rangers rally past Mariners
The Texas Rangers scored three runs in the ninth inning to defeat the Seattle Mariners 7-4 Friday night at Safeco Field.
Texas won the game as +105 underdogs, while the 11 runs made it OVER the posted over/under (8.5).
Julio Borbon went 3-for-6 at the plate and drove in one run for the Rangers. C.J. Wilson picked up the win in relief, and Frank Francisco collected his 25th save.
Mike Carp went 3-for-3 at the plate with a pair of RBIs for the Mariners. David Aardsma allowed three runs and suffered the loss in relief.
