Bradley, Mariners too much for Tigers
Milton Bradley's run-scoring single highlighted a two-run bottom of the eighth inning, as the Seattle Mariners upended the Detroit Tigers 5-3 on Tuesday night.
Seattle won as +110 home underdogs, while the teams played OVER the 6.5-run total set by oddsmakers.
Bradley finished 2-for-4 with a two-run jack and three runs batted in for the Mariners, as Shawn Kelley got the win in relief of Doug Fister for Seattle.
Brandon Inge was 2-for-4 with a big fly for Detroit, while losing pitcher Justin Verlander allowed five runs over 7 1-3 innings for the Tigers.
