Chamberlain lifts Yankees over Rays
Joba Chamberlain tossed eight scoreless innings Wednesday, as the New York Yankees defeated the Tampa Bay Rays 6-2 in the rubber match at Tropicana Field.
The Yankees won the game as a -110 pick’em, while the team’s played UNDER the posted over/under (8.5).
Robinson Cano and Mark Teixeira both hit solo home runs, while driving in a pair of runs. Miguel Cabrera also went deep for the Yankees, and Chamberlain improved to 7-2.
Evan Longoria belted a two-run homer for the Rays, while Matt Garza gave up eight hits and three runs over seven innings in the loss.
