Jays snap skid; down BoSox
The Toronto Blue Jays ended a nine-game losing skid with a 6-3 win over the Boston Red Sox Friday night at Rogers Centre.
Toronto won the game as +105 underdogs, but the nine runs went UNDER the posted over/under (10).
Scott Rolen went 2-for-4 at the plate with two RBIs, and Rod Barajas also drove in two runs for the Blue Jays. Casey Janssen got the win after going seven innings on the mound, allowing 11 hits and three runs.
Jacoby Ellsbury went 2-for-4 at the plate with two RBIs for the Red Sox. Tim Wakefield gave up nine hits and six runs over 4 2-3 innings.
