Angels slip past Jays

The LA Angels scored in the top of the ninth inning to earn a 6-5 victory over the Toronto Blue Jays in the rubber match of a three-game series at Rogers Centre Thursday afternoon.

LA won the game as a -105 pick’em, and the 11 runs made it OVER the posted over/under (8.5).

Mike Napoli belted a solo home run for the Angels, while Justin Speier got the win in relief. Brian Fuentes closed out the game to pick up his 14th save of the season.

Adam Lind went a perfect 5-for-5 at the plate with two runs scored for the Blue Jays. Brandon League gave up the winning run in two innings of relief in the loss.
