White Sox nip A’s in extra inning

Alexei Ramirez homered in the 10th inning to give the Chicago White Sox an 8-7 win over the Oakland A’s Friday night at Oakland Coliseum.

Chicago won the game as +150 underdogs, while the 15 runs sailed OVER the posted over/under (8.5).

Ramon Castro went 2-for-2 at the plate and hit a solo home run for the White Sox. Octavio Dotel earned the win in relief, and Bobby Jenks notched his 24th save.

Scott Hairston homered and drove in a pair of runs for the A’s. Craig Breslow gave up the winning run and suffered the loss.
