Nationals get past Phillies
Adam Dunn belted a three-run homer as the Washington Nationals defeated the Philadelphia Phillies 8-2 Thursday night.
Washington won the game as +115 underdogs, while the 10 runs went as a PUSH against the posted over/under (10).
Anderson Hernandez and had two hits and drove in one run for the Nationals. Shairon Martis threw 6 1-3 innings, giving up five hits and two runs in the earning the win.
Raul Ibanez went 2-for-4 at the plate with one RBI for the Phillies. Joe Blanton gave up three runs off eight hits in six innings on the mound.
