Jeremy Hermida drove in the winning run Friday, as the Florida Marlins got past the Washington Nationals 3-2 in the opener of a three-game series.

Florida won the game as -130 favorites, while the five runs went UNDER the posted over/under (9).

John Baker hit a solo home run for the Marlins. Leo Nunez posted the win in relief, and Matt Lindstrom notched his second save.

Alberto Gonzalez had three hits and drove in one run for the Nationals. Saul Rivera gave up the winning run and was hit with the loss.
