Nationals edge Marlins
The Washington Nationals won their second straight in a three-game set with a 5-4 win over the Florida Marlins Wednesday night at Nationals Park.
Washington won the game as +100 underdogs, while the nine runs made it OVER the posted over/under (8.5).
Cristian Guzman went 3-for-4 at the plate and drove in a pair of runs to lead the Nationals. John Lannan evened his record to 8-8 with the win, allowing eight hits and two runs over six innings of work.
Dan Uggla homered and drove in three runs for the Marlins. Rick VandenHurk gave up seven hits and five runs over four innings in the loss.
