A three-run second inning helped the Philadelphia Phillies pull out a 6-5 victory over the Washington Nationals Wednesday night.

Philadelphia won the game as -220 favorites, and the 11 runs sailed OVER the posted over/under (8.5).

Jayson Werth went 2-for-4 at the plate with a solo home run and two runs batted in for the Phillies. Cliff Lee allowed five runs over seven innings in earning the win.

Cristian Guzman and Adam Dunn drove in a pair of runs for the Nationals. Tyler Clippard gave up two runs in relief in suffering the loss.
