Indians down Tigers in marathon
Jamey Carroll drove in the winning run in the 13th inning to give the Cleveland Indians a 4-3 victory over the Detroit Tigers Friday night at Progressive Field.
Cleveland won the game as +145 underdogs, while the seven runs went UNDER the posted over/under (9).
Asdrubal Cabrera went 2-for-7 at the plate with a two-run homer and three runs batted in for the Indians. Tomo Ohka pitched four scoreless innings to post the victory.
Carlos Guillen belted a two-run homer in a losing effort for the Tigers. Casey Fien gave up the winning run in relief.
